"Whole House" Energy Audits
Rather than focusing on a single component such as single-paned windows, an old heating system, or leaky ductwork, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR offers a whole-house approach that assesses how improvements to all of your home's systems can work together to deliver real energy efficiency and cost savings. The key component of this is an energy audit which assesses you energy usage and makes recommendations on improvements to save you money.
PSFI Energy is a certified Auditor under the Keystone HELP program and is an approved contractor certified by both BPI (Building Performance Institute) and RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) to conduct home energy audits. You must have an audit performed by a Certified Auditor to utilize the “Whole House Improvement Loan” Program. Certified Auditors may work independently from your contractor or they may be Certified Contractors who have also met the qualifications to perform as Certified Auditors.
